Content-Area Vocabulary Builder (CVB) Uses Powerful Technology and Research-Based Curriculum Content to Help Struggling Readers
Today at FETC 2011, School Specialty Literacy and Intervention announced the launch of Content-Area Vocabulary Builder (CVB), an online interactive tool targeted at helping students who are struggling to master academic vocabulary in science and social studies. Developed for grades 4-8, CVB is the only online vocabulary program designed to help students learn the specialized vocabulary that presents a significant hurdle to many in subject-area learning and ultimately hinders performance on state assessments.
