Part of a four-book series, this Beyond The Code 2 workbook helps students develop important comprehension and thinking skills at the earliest level, and also can be accommodated after having completed Explode The Code Book 2 (sold separately), which follows the same phonetic structure. Content is covered through 7 engaging illustrated stories (which include the titles Plum, The Camp Out, Greg Can't Sleep, Max, Goo Bad or Best?, Stand Up for Lemonade, and Lost in the City), with the following skills addressed in activities that follow each story: spelling patterns, sight words, vocabulary development, sequencing, categorizing, following directions, critical thinking, story recall, inferential thinking, rhyming words, multi-syllabic words, and matching sentences to pictures.
