Megawords Book 5, Student Edition

Book 5 introduces the vowel sounds of y and some vowel combinations that are common in multisyllabic words. These often confusing vowel patterns are presented clearly and plenty of practice is provided. Exercises include spelling practice, proofreading, crossword puzzles, word finds, fill in the blank, categorizing, sorting, and passage reading for fluency and comprehension.

Skills addressed include vowel variations, List 26: Vowel combinations with o, List 27: Vowel combinations with a, List 28: Vowel combinations with e, and List 29: Vowel sounds of y.
