EPS Webinar Series

SPIRE – A Multisensory Program for Students with Dyslexia

About this Presentation

Julie Ross will guide you through S.P.I.R.E.® – a multisensory reading intervention program for dyslexic students, nonreaders, and struggling readers. Explicit, teacher-led instruction and a consistent 10-step lesson ensure mastery of concepts to dramatically increase students' reading skills.

This presentation will provide an overview of the program and introduce some key differences between using S.P.I.R.E. print or the new online version called iSPIRETM as a direct instruction model – to teach foundational reading skills with this target population.

You will learn

  • Why SPIRE is effective for dyslexic students, nonreaders, and struggling readers
  • The 10 steps that make up a SPIRE lesson, including details and the importance of each
  • The instructional support your teachers will receive, both through the program, as well as from our Professional Services team
